Radiate Excellence from a tiny waterproof speaker

The Tribit XSound Plus 2 arrived in a 9 3/4 inches wide by 4 inches tall by 3 inches thick retail package. The outer shell utilized a vibrant yellow-on-black color scheme, keeping with the classy Tribit Style. The cover panel listed the product name and Tribit logo along the top panel, displayed an obliquely angled image of the speaker along the mid-segment, and provided three grey-colored product features along the bottom left (24 hours Playtime, 2x15W Superior Sound, IPX7 Waterproof).

The yellow bottom panel provided the Tribit logo, while the right side panel had a yellow logo upon a black base. I liked the contrasting play on color and felt the overall design was quite pleasing. The rear panel provided an SKU barcode along the top right, and company information along the bottom yellow segment: model BTS65, FCC/IC ID, addresses, product manufacturing labels, compatibility information, and instructions to download the Application from the App Store and Google Play Store.

I opened the packaging, removed the 1 pound 4.7 ounce plastic-wrapped speaker from the cardboard tray, and then the instruction manual resting beneath the speaker. You will find a small yellow accessory box adjacent to the cardboard…
