For as long as I’ve used a trackpad enabled laptop, I’ve wanted a mouse to go along with it. At first, I think it was because it was what I was used to, but now it’s just far more efficient for me to utilize a detached mouse. There are two main kinds of wireless mouses — Bluetooth, meaning it connects to your computer with no additional accessories needed; Bluetooth with dongle, which is also Bluetooth, but the mouse communicates with the USB dongle you plug into your computer. In my experience, the dongle option provides you with the most direct connection. Today, I’m going to introduce you to two mouses from Technet that provide both of these experiences.

Bluetooth As I mentioned, this type of mouse connects directly to your computer. This Bluetooth Mouse from Technet is one specimen of this style mouse that is worth mentioning. It’s very responsive and connected quite easily to my computer. Even though the description on Amazon states that it’s compatible with Windows XP, VISTA, 7 and 8, I can also state that it can be used with a Mac. I was actually very surprised with the Technet mouse’s performance. I was even able to use it while sitting on the couch. The product description claims that it has a 12-month battery life off of one battery (AA). This is not something I can confirm or deny because I’ve only been testing the mouse out for a couple of weeks.

Bluetooth with Dongle This wireless mouse from Technet is also very responsive and easy to connect to your laptop. You simply pull the USB dongle out of the bottom of the mouse and plug it into one of your USB ports. In testing, I used this with my MacBook Pro and did not have any connection issues with it. I found the to be easy to use. I really like how easy this mouse is to use. It requires two AAA batteries that are not included. One exceptionally cool feature is the magnet that holds the USB dongle in the mouse. It’s the first time I’ve seen something like that and it’s a really nice touch.

Both mouses are comfortable to use and after several hours use, I didn’t find my hands feeling fatigued or cramped. The one improvement I would like to see from both of these products is the integration of a rechargeable battery. Even though they both operate off of simple, easy to find batteries (AA and AAA respectively), I really feel that making these rechargeable would take them to the next level.

If you are looking for a nice mouse as a companion to your computer, either of these beauties would do the trick. BUY FROM AMAZON
