SyncWire SW-XC461 Aluminum Alloy Fast Charging Car Charger REVIEW | MacSources
Affordable, compact device provides a fast charging option for cars.
A couple of years ago, I had a small SUV that was over 10 years old. It still ran, but it didn’t have a lot of the amenities that newer vehicles have like built-in USB ports. Today, I have a car that is only 2 years old and it does have those features added on. Even with two USB ports that provide both charging and data sync capabilities, sometimes, you still need to connect through the car’s auxiliary power outlet, formerly known as a cigarette lighter. Syncwire has a great option for a car charger — the Aluminum Alloy Fast-Charging Car Charger.
DETAILS
This car charger supports PD and QC fast-charging protocols that provide up to 4 times faster-charging capabilities. With it, the user can charge two devices at the same time with speeds up to 2.4A in both ports. The maximum power output is 24W. There is a built-in smart chip that helps provide protection against overcurrent, short circuit, over-voltage, under-voltage, overheating, and overpowers. Syncwire designed this charger to be more compact so that it fits easier into smaller spaces. It is universally compatible with common devices that charge using USB-A or USB-C.
