Robot falls short of expectations and has to have a babysitter while it runs.
One of my favorite innovations in recent years is the robot vacuum. I’ve had many experiences with them and they help make managing household chores bearable. There seem to be many variations these days and this new vacuum/mop combo from iRobot is no different. Unfortunately, my expectations of this Roomba fell short.

The Roomba Combo Essential Robot is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop powered by iRobot OS. It has a complete 4-stage cleaning system and will self-navigate throughout your home. The robot has sensors on it that prevent it from falling down stairs and help it avoid places it shouldn’t go. Users have the option of starting the vacuum with a single button press or via the app. Roomba will also connected to most voice assistants.
