I’ve been looking for a classy, powerful charger to use on my desk for a while. Since I work from home and manage review work at night, I spend around 16–18 hours at my desk. It’s a comfortable space for me but my iPhone and Apple Watch get drained throughout the day.

I have a charger for my phone on my desk but typically wait until bedtime to charge my watch. By then, the poor device is held on by a thread and usually has less than 10% power. Because of this, I’ve wanted a slim, minimalist charger for my desk so I can charge both devices at once.

After reviewing the Base One in April this year, I really wanted to use that charger but that left my watch out to dry. Then, the Base One Max was released — and my charging dilemma was solved.
