Mophie Speedport 30 GaN Charger REVIEW — MacSources

30W single Port GaN Charger for phones/tablets/laptops.

The mophie speedport 30 GaN Charger arrived in a clean, white-colored 4 inches wide by 4 inches tall by 1 3/8 inches thick hanging-style retail package. The cover displayed the mophie name along the top of the cover panel, the speedport 30 product name and two product features along the bottom of the panel (30W Fast Charging, Ultra-Compact Form Factor), and a slightly raised, glossy image of the charger along the midsection.

I liked the contrasting black font against the sterile white background and the details of the product image: single port USB-C output, retractable Type A wall plugs, and small form factor. Both side panels displayed the mophie logo along their bottom, while the right side panel gave information about the 30W charging and utility for phones, tablets, & Laptops. The packaging may limit sales a bit as it seems to discourage those looking to power other devices like a Meta Quest, Nintendo Switch, smart home assistants, watches, cameras, drones, or other small tech devices.
