Keyport Pocket Flare 2.0 REVIEW — MacSources
Keyport is a company dedicated to providing innovative modular solutions for better key organization. Their flagship product, the Keyport Pivot, serves as a versatile key organizer, accommodating various modules that can be attached to either side. Among these modules are practical tools like a knife, a belt clip, and the Pocket Flare. Last month, I reviewed the original Pocket Flare 1.0 and the Keyport Pivot, and I’m excited to share how the Pocket Flare 2.0 has addressed many of my concerns with its predecessor.
Unboxing and Setup
The Keyport Pocket Flare 2.0 arrives neatly packaged in a small plastic bag, accompanied by a card containing setup instructions and a USB A to USB C charging cable. Although the packaging lacks specific information regarding charging time, my experience showed that it was fully charged within 45 minutes of plugging it in. I opted to let the device charge completely before attaching it to my Keyport Pivot. The Pocket Flare features a small LED light that glows blue while charging and turns off once fully charged. After reaching a full charge, it slid effortlessly into the designated slot, locking in with a satisfying click.
