Finding unique artwork to place in your office can be a lot of fun. There are many options available to make your office stand out. Some people use decals and stickers while others mix and match art prints to create their own sense of style and showcase their individual personalities. One of the most unique pieces of artwork I have in my office actually a piece of technology — the GRID iPod Touch.

GRID Studio was formed when the six founders decided to create an art project from an iPhone 4S. One of the partners was compelled to deconstruct the iPhone and mount it onto paper. The result was an amazing piece of art that they felt should be shared with others. What was once a hobby quickly turned into a mission of keeping amazing technology alive.

GRID collects devices from repair shops and collectors in order to get the parts they need for their artwork. All the parts they use are original to the device with the exception of the batteries. Fake batteries are used with the art so that there is no…
