Ideal for stationary TVs and Monitors

When we moved into our current house, we decided to try and maximize our floor space by mounting TV and monitors on our walls. It was my first experience mounting a TV and even though I understood the basics of how to get it done, I was still a little uncertain of myself. It can be tricky to locate a stud after all. I’ve used the articulating mounts and the stationary ones to mount TVs. I found the non-articulating ones to be a bit easier to deal with so when it came time to mount our TV in our office, I decided to go with something fairly simple. The Gabor TM-3700 Tilting Wall Mount was perfect for this particular job.

This mount is designed to hold flat panel screens 37–70 inches in size. It will support up to 176 pounds. It has a 2″ mounting depth with a 75 x 75 to 640 x 400mm mounting pattern (VESA compatible). The mount provides a tilt adjustment of -10/+5º. The mount will sit almost flush against the wall but can be tilted. There is extra security included as the mount comes with an anti-theft locking bar for additional security when monitors are mounted in public places. The mount comes with 2 brackets, an anti-theft locking bar, bubble level, mounting hardware, and a limited 1-year warranty.

The mount is well-built and all the parts seem solid. I really like that the plate that affixes to the back of the TV is a solid piece instead of individual bars. It just makes the installation feel much more secure than the ones that are individual bars. All the parts fit together really well and I didn’t have any difficulty with finding the right hardware since it comes with a large assortment of parts.

I love the inclusion of the anti-theft locking bar. That was a new piece of hardware that I’d not seen before with other installations I had done. The tilt angle on the TV is ideal for our particular use and while some people may want more flexibility for their mounted TV, I feel as though this option is perfect for a stationary, tilt-only mount.
