Cleer Enduro 100

Premium-quality listening experience with extended battery life.
I love to listen to music while I’m working. The only problem is that I am ‘one of those’ users that will pick up a set of headphones, use them for an hour or two and then set them down. The next time I pick them up, I expect that they will still have a charge to them. Unfortunately, that’s not always the case. Fortunately, it seems that I am not the only person who has this problem because headphone designer, Cleer, has created over-the-ear headphones that have an extended battery life called Enduro 100.
DETAILS & FEATURES
The Enduro 100 Wireless Headphones boast an impressive 100 hours of playback time. They are reddot award winners (2019) and feature Bluetooth 5.0 with NFC, AAC, and aptX HD. The headphones have a built-in microphone for use with virtual assistants and making/answering phone calls. The Enduro 100 also features 40mm Ironless drivers that produce bold, Hi-Res Sound. In addition to being compatible with Apple’s Siri assistant, the Enduro 100s have Google Fast Pair included in their feature set. The headphones are lightweight (280g) and have plush ear pads with a flexible headband for comfort.

USER EXPERIENCE
The Enduro 100 headphones come packaged in a very nice, informative box. If I saw the box sitting on a shelf, I feel as though I would have a very good idea of what I was getting into with the product. The website shows the headphones as having a green tint to them, but it’s much more a blue-gray coloring on the exterior of the headphones. The accessories that are included are appreciated and complete the package. I like that a soft case is included, however, my preference is definitely for a hardshell case so that the headphones don’t become misshapen during transport.
The most impressive feature for me with the Enduro 100 is the enhanced battery. Since I like to use the same set of headphones over and over again without having to recharge them, the Enduro 100 headphones are ideal for me. Even better than not having to charge them is the fact that users have the option to charge them for a very minimal amount of time (10 minutes of charge time = 13 hours of playtime) and still get a lot of play time. I’ve not ‘timed’ my use of the headphones, but I’ve been using them regularly for several days now and the battery still shows 100% when I view the level on my phone.
The sound quality is quite amazing. I wasn’t expecting to have such a rich, full sound, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that using the Enduro 100 headphones was a lot like having a movie theater on your ears. I used them to listen to a variety of music including Christmas/Holiday music, Broadway show tunes, and alternative rock. Everything sounded outstanding. I also used the headphones to watch streaming video (usually The Office on Netflix) and soundtrack mixes sounded as they should. I didn’t have any trouble discerning dialogue out of a busy soundtrack and found spoken words to be easily understood.
The headphones are also very comfortable. The padding on the ear pads and headband are more than adequate and because the Enduro 100s are so lightweight, it’s easy to use them in a variety of situations for extended periods of time.
CONCLUSION
I think the Enduro 100 headphones are perfect for any type of user. They are specifically designed with the extended listener in mind, but they are such a wonderful, quality set of headphones that I would recommend them to anyone wanting a solid set of over-ear headphones. They are currently priced around $180, which is more than fair for high-end, premium-quality wireless headphones.
