Celebrating 9 Years of MacSources | MacSources

It’s that time of year again where we look back on where we came from and look ahead to where we are going. This year we celebrate our 9th birthday. The roots of MacSources actually date back further than 2012 when we officially launched MacSources.com. It’s been a few years since we dedicated a post to our birthday and this year, we thought it was appropriate to celebrate again.

The past 18 months have been a struggle for everyone — including us. Thankfully, we’ve not had to deal with illnesses within our MacSources family, but we have known and lost loved ones due to COVID-19. Our business was effected in a couple of ways. First, incoming products were slowed due to supply chain issues and second, our standard conference options were reduced to virtual events. We typically use those events as a way to commune with other technology nerds. So, naturally we were saddened to not be able to do that as a part of our typical annual tradition. Still, we remain vigilant about keeping safe and thankfully, the majority of the companies we work with have been able to return to a normal state of business.
