As of November 13, it was reported that social media network, Bluesky, was experiencing rapid growth after getting more than 1 million sign-ups in one week. As of today (11/18/24), Bluesky is now showing 19.4 million users — having gained 3.6 million users in less than three days. The platform’s popularity has been attributed to a combination of factors, including growing user interest in decentralized social networks, heightened dissatisfaction with competing platforms, and ongoing improvements to Bluesky’s features and accessibility.
