An offsite backup solution ensures your precious data is secure when local hard drives fail.
Over the years I have relied on Time Machine, Apple’s built-in backup feature, to secure my files. That option, or storing backups on my NAS device, is not a bad idea and realistically, these should all be a part of your overall backup strategy. I’ve always liked these types of options because the backups are close at hand.
